Michelle Holdt, Founding Executive Director, Arts Ed Matters (Arts Education)

Bio: Michelle Holdt is the Founding Executive Director of Arts Ed Matters. She is an arts integration specialist and theater educator with a strong commitment to leading an arts rich life and making the arts available for all children.

For 20 years in the Bay Area, she has been a drama teacher, professional development facilitator, arts education leader, & a passionate arts education community member. She is also the proud mom of three awesome artists!

Why do you do the work that you do?: “I believe that the arts save lives and I am committed to working towards equity and access to creative expression for all Bay Area youth... and I’m on my knees grateful to work with such AMAZING colleagues!!!!”
